One of the core values of the Quad Cities Autism Center is to provide resources to parents of children affected by Autism.

 

  LENDING LIBRARY GUIDELINES

• Lending Library items are available for clients of the QCAC to check out at no cost.  Families not receiving services from the QCAC are welcome to check out items with a cash damage/loss deposit of $35 that is refundable upon return of the Lending Library item in it's same condition.
• Lending Library items are designed for use by families with children affected by Autism.
• Due to the large volume and ever changing nature of Lending Library items it is impossible to maintain an up to date inventory of items.  Below you will find the steps to requesting items you are looking for.
• All requests are reviewed on a weekly basis in our staff meeting on Thursday evenings.  You will be contacted by the following Monday to let you know if we are able to meet your request.
• All items are to be picked up and returned to the QCAC during normal business hours.

 

LENDING LIBRARY REQUESTS:

1. Email your request to michelle@qcautismcenter.org 
2. Include in your request: 

• Your name and contact information
• The specific item you are looking for or a description of the need/use of the item (e.g. fine motor, gross motor, target mands, multiple step directives, etc...)
• Date and length time item is requested
• Any other important information regarding the child this request is intended for.

 

 

Donations of new or gently used toys are always greatly appreciated. Tax receipts can be issued.
